Lovdahl, Ian hats off to Adam Burke, i really like this album art. for how much i've listened to Triumphant Master of Fates, i didn't pick up on Vimur's spear motif until this record; and, i mean, how could you miss it?
is the entire planet coming together to challenge the Demiurge? or is this the doing of the lone figure from the previous album's cover? it's enthralling to me, just as much as the excellent black metal on display. another awesome LP from Vimur. Favorite track: Infallible Contra Animus.

Gojira Blume I'd prefer that space-lion over the pending doom that is actually upon us. Would be quicker.

blackgrindingdeath Best black metal record I've heard all year. Majestic, powerful and grim. Not a single second wasted on weak or self indulgent bullshit- just an all out attack! Favorite track: Infallible Contra Animus.

Ippocalyptica I doubt that there has ever been a more fitting album title, for the aural muscularity and violence that this Atlanta-based quartet has brought forth here is nothing short of transcendental. Every musician here is very talented, but the lead and rhythm guitarists really are some of the best in the business, injecting ceaselessly creative, powerful, and majestic riffs into every song. Death-oriented black metal rarely gets better than this. We will be talking about Vimur on year-end lists! Favorite track: The Warrior Seers.
